　Access to the island

Taketomi Island is located at 24.N.lattitude and 124.E longitude, and is one of the Yaeyama Islands, the southernmost area of Japanese territory. Ishigaki Island is 470kms away from Naha, the prefectural capital of Okinawa on the main island.

Ishigaki Island is the Yaeyama transportation base for any travel around its islands. To get there, you can either take an airplane or a ferry. Please take the bus or a taxi from Ishigaki Airport to Ritousanbashi, the ferry port.
